AJ Standard is dedicated to breeding the top quality AKC registered Standard Poodle puppies with the best temperament and intelligence!
Growing up with Dobermans my whole life and watching my parents breed and train our family dogs Star and her puppy Dutchess. The next obvious career choice had to be a dog trainer. Working at a large chain store that offers Obedience Training gave me the opportunity to work with all breeds. One of my favorite dogs to train has to be the Standard Poodle! After years of working with different Standards I just fell in love. The goofy personality and quick learning skills made it an easy choice to add to our loving home.
After much searching and many Standards around the country to pick from we settled on Carly to first join our home. I remember the day we picked her up from the airport, I was so excited, I got there an hour early and then when we saw her, it was love at first sight!
